Holiday thoughts.

The holidays are definitely very different this year. I normally spend the weeks leading up to the new year at parties and events, spreading smiles and magic This year... it's been different. Everything has moved online. I am staying healthy and safe and I hope you are too. I am planning 2021 with a very different outlook. I will be focusing heavily on ways to bring magic into people homes 100% virtually and if the situation changes and live parties come back I will consider that a Bonus!

I know kids( and adults) are feeling so done with Zoom and distance learning. So my attention has moved to making it FUN! Magic is very easy to just " turn on " and perform, but I want connection, interaction and most importantly, for the audience to feel like this is something more than just a recorded video of my magic shows and classes.

So...., with the help of some friends, I put together a strategy, I have been studying late night talk shows and binge watching/reading lesson plans for games and activities to lighten the mood when everyone starts to slip into a very comfortable spot in the couch and doesn't feel like engaging. The best part, I have gotten myself off the couch to try these activities out and participate myself. I have to say it has been super helpful in keeping me enthusiastic.

I hope you are finding a little spark of happiness this year and I am looking forward to the potential of what lies ahead.

From my family to yours , may your season be filled with good health , buckets of love and of course lots of laughter!

cheers!
