2020

Updated: Feb 27, 2020

Not only the new year... but also hindsight.

Hello friends, family, and fellow funny folk! Boy, what a crazy holiday season it has been. And Happy New Year!!!

Right after Thanksgiving, I came down with a stomach bug and was pretty much out of commission for about a week…. Not the greatest way to start off my Christmas season, but at least it only lasted a week in the beginning.

From the moment I was better I had one or two jobs per day, every day, right up until the day before Christmas Eve. I spent the Eve with my Granny(94 years young and still a ball of fire)and boy did I need that dose of family. I’ve been slowly but surely helping Justin get Cresey.com’s inventory back up to where it needs to be, and plotting and planning out my winter season.

Webster Hall had my friend back to do their giant New Years’ Eve balloon drop and I was able to be part of that again. I spent a quiet evening at home when the ball dropped eating fancy cheese, humus, olives and smoked salmon. Not going to lie, it was the perfect end to a very challenging year.

In retrospect, I made it through 2019 with all the curve balls life threw at me. I made new friends, hung out with some old peeps (check out the photos below), created new art (Check out the 6 foot tall sponge bob), traveled all over (17 states and two countries ), and although everything didn’t play out the way I expected, I have managed to squeeze out more incredible experiences than I ever could have imagined.

The plans for my caboose have been put on hold for the time being due to timing and a fairly busy work and travel schedule over the next 16 months… basically I won’t be in any one place for more than a week. But in the interim, I’m looking to move towards a small camper van for while I’m on the road. Last year alone, I spent thousands on hotel rooms that were… less than stellar, and something about sleeping in your own bed more often is very appealing to me. I have been living out of a small carry on suitcase and a backpack for the past few years, so this will be a welcome upgrade. We will see how long it takes to make this plan come to life, but I’m excited about the process. Not going to lie 2020 is off to a shaky start, but I'm positive and enthusiastic about tackling things that have piled up on my todo list and visit some friends soon.

Until next time...I encourage you to go out and lead a very charmed life of your own!!!
